Hockney's Other Alphabet #7
Zerkall paper, piment liner and Sumi - I called these books 'Hockney's other alphabet' because I used many of the perspectival tricks I saw in his paintings to give these letters some ambiguity around their shape. Originally the letters were designed for a children's alphabet trail around Hove Museum and Art Gallery when they showed a touring exhibition of Peter Blake's alphabet prints.
